Barnstable Municipal Airport
Barnstable Municipal Airport was founded in 1928 by Charles Ayling and his son Robetson, an aviation enthusiast. The two formed the Hyannis Airport Corporation and cleared 57 acres near Mary Dunn Road in the village of Hyannis.
